Trip Itinerary



Paris, Florence, Pisa, Rome: March 12-23, 2011

Begin your European tour in Paris, the City of Light.  See such famous sites as the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower.  Explore the Rive Gauche and stroll by France's most renowned university, the Sorbonne.  See the Pantheon, which houses the tombs of the giants of French literature and philosophy.  At the heart of the city is Ile de la Cite and the Cathedral of Notre Dame, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Europe.  Not to be missed is the Palace of Versailles, where you'll marvel at the Hall of Mirrors and the fabulous interiors.

Journey to Florence, the centre of the Italian Renaissance.  En route, stop at the ultimate Tuscan hill town, San Gimignano, renowned for its various towers and charming location.  Once in Florence, experience the beauty of The Duomo Cathedral complex, including the Baptistry with its 15th century bronze Door of Paradise. Continue to the Cathedral of Santa Croce, renowned as the final resting place of Michelangelo.

Enjoy the day excursion to Pisa, where you'll see the famous Leaning Tower and the Campo dei Miracoli (Field of Miracles).

Rome, the magnificent capital city of Italy, is where you'll soak up the hustle and bustle that defines Italian life.  Take in the happening street life around the Spanish Steps, throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain, tour Vatican City, including the St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums.

Bid "Arrivederci" to Italy and return to Canada!
